Effective Date: October 7, 2026
MathLucid is designed to provide clear, student-focused mathematics education while keeping the amount of personal information we ask for as low as reasonably possible.
1. Who We Are
MathLucid is an educational website operated under the name MathLucid. The website is available at www.mathlucid.com.
If you have a privacy question or want to contact us about this policy, email [email protected].
2. Information We Collect
MathLucid is currently designed without user accounts, student profiles, payment systems, contact forms, or features that intentionally require visitors to provide personal information.
We do not intentionally ask visitors to provide information such as their name, phone number, home address, date of birth, school information, password, or payment details in order to use the educational content.
3. Theme Preference
MathLucid stores a small preference in your browser so that the light or dark theme you choose can remain consistent when you move between pages.
The preference is stored locally in your browser using browser storage under the key
mathlucid-theme. It is not used by MathLucid to identify you or build a personal profile.
4. Technical Information
When a website is accessed, ordinary internet and infrastructure information may be processed by hosting, DNS, security, content-delivery, or other technical service providers. This can include information such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security-related information.
MathLucid does not currently use this information to intentionally build behavioral profiles of students. Technical processing may nevertheless occur as part of operating, securing, and delivering the website.
5. Email and Contact
If you voluntarily email [email protected], we will receive the information contained in your message, including your email address and anything you choose to send us.
We use that information to respond to your message, handle a request, or address an issue. Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary.
6. Cookies, Advertising, and Analytics
At the time this policy takes effect, MathLucid does not intentionally operate advertising cookies, analytics services, or behavioral advertising systems on the website.
MathLucid may use advertising in the future to support the free availability of the website. If advertising or another third-party service introduces cookies, web beacons, IP-address processing, identifiers, or other tracking technologies, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the relevant practices before or when those features are introduced, as applicable.
If Google advertising services are used in the future, the relevant disclosures and controls required by Google and applicable law will be provided. Google requires publishers using its products to disclose relevant data collection and technologies such as cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers.
7. Children and Students
MathLucid is intended to be useful to school students and may therefore be visited by minors. We do not currently require students to create accounts or submit personal profiles to access the educational content.
We do not intentionally use the website to create behavioral profiles of children or to collect children's personal information for its own sake. If MathLucid introduces features that collect personal information from students, we will review the applicable legal and platform requirements and update this policy and the site's design accordingly.
8. Third-Party Services
MathLucid may use third-party infrastructure and services needed to operate the website, such as domain/DNS, hosting, security, email routing, or future advertising providers. These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services and according to their own terms and privacy policies.
MathLucid currently uses Cloudflare infrastructure for domain and email-routing services. Cloudflare may process technical information as part of providing those services.
9. External Links
MathLucid may link to external websites or resources when they are useful to students or visitors. We do not control the privacy practices of external websites. You should review the privacy policy of an external website before providing it with personal information.
10. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to keep MathLucid and its systems secure. However, no internet service can guarantee absolute security, and no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely risk-free.
11. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live and which laws apply to you, you may have rights concerning personal information, including rights to access, correction, deletion, or other forms of control. If you have a privacy-related request concerning information you voluntarily provided to MathLucid, contact us at [email protected].

We may update this Privacy Policy when MathLucid's features, services, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the beginning of this page will be updated when a material revision is made.
